The Tropical Island Party was an exclusive VTS-hosted event at Realcomm 2022, designed to bring industry professionals together in a lively, immersive setting. As the event designer, I worked closely with the events team to craft a visually cohesive and engaging experience that transported guests to a tropical paradise—blending vibrant aesthetics with seamless event branding.

VTS wanted to host a high-impact networking event that stood out at Realcomm, creating an inviting atmosphere while reinforcing the brand’s commitment to innovation and hospitality. The challenge was to develop a unified visual identity that would tie together digital promotions, event signage, and on-site elements—delivering a sophisticated yet playful island-inspired experience.
To bring the Tropical Island Party to life, I developed a cohesive design system that merged bold tropical aesthetics with sleek, brand-aligned event materials:
Tropical-Inspired Visual Identity: Designed a vibrant, modern aesthetic featuring lush island motifs, bold typography, and a color palette that captured the warmth and energy of the theme.
Seamless Event Branding: Created a unified suite of materials—including digital invitations, social media assets, on-site signage, and printed collateral—ensuring a consistent and engaging experience from pre-event promotions to post-event follow-ups.
Engaging Digital & Print Collateral: Developed branded menus, wayfinding signage, and check-in materials, ensuring a smooth and visually captivating attendee journey.
